LONG-RANGE PLANNING

The Franklin Parish School Board and Superintendent shall develop and implement plans for the school district which meet the future education requirements of the community.  The School Board shall make its decisions based on long-range building plans and accreditation needs to meet the district’s requirements.  Some of the major objectives of the plan are as follows:

1. The improvement of the educational environment for students and staff by raising the physical standards in all existing facilities;
   
   

2. The creation of school complexes which are the best possible balance of effective groupings of educational resources, efficient management and operations and community concerns; and
   
   

3. The assurance that all facility expansion programs and related constructions are based upon objectively determined needs, adequate enrollment projections and cost-benefit analyses.
