Franklin Parish School District Closure: Tuesday, January 21, 2025
Due to the Winter Weather Advisory/Cold Weather Advisory issued by the National Weather Service, the Franklin Parish School District will be closed on Tuesday, January 21, 2025.
Forecasts indicate the possibility of winter precipitation and single-digit wind chills during student bus pickups, posing an unacceptable risk to student safety. Additionally, road conditions may deteriorate overnight, increasing travel hazards. Concerns about the age of our facilities and their ability to maintain consistent heating and water supply have also factored into this decision.

Please monitor all district media platforms for updates and weather-related announcements. A decision regarding any additional school closures will be made on Tuesday afternoon.
